Books

In college I began volunteering at local schools and learning centers where I especially enjoyed sharing with the children my favorite stories growing up. It was during this time that I wrote and illustrated Penguina's Bedtime Story and The Adventures of Pengels and Schwartz: The Search for the Black Knight to share with the children. The inspiration for Penguina's Bedtime Story came from my personal experiences growing up, being different, and trying to fit in. Pengels and Schwartz was inspired by a book of adventure stories and poems my grandfather used to read to me when I was a little girl.

The illustrations for these books, originally done in charcoal and ink, are currently being redrawn in water color, my primary medium moving forward. Be sure to check back often since I will be updating the site as each illustration is finished. Prints are available upon request.
